(Text) - The complete gospel by Revelation 1611 (the free grace, once saved always saved gospel - by faith alone without works (Acts 16:31, Romans 4:5-6, 1John 5:10-13 - salvation is truly a free gift requiring nothing in return but simple faith (belief) in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the complete payment for our sins and the gift of eternal life.)

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure that you’d go to heaven? You can know for sure! First of all, the Bible says that we’re all sinners – ‘’For all have sinned, and come short of the glory (or perfection) of God’’. (This includes all of us). The Bible also says there’s a consequence for our sins (for lying, stealing or coveting, etc). – ‘’For the wages of sin is death’’… (This includes a second death in hell) – ‘’And all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death’’. (And we know that we’ve all lied before, and we’ve all done worse things than lying. Therefore we all deserve hell because of our sins). (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Revelation 21:8)

 

But God loves us and He doesn’t want us to go to hell to pay for our own sins. That’s why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be the propitiation (or payment) for our sins. Jesus is the Son of God and He is also God manifest in the flesh. The Bible says that Christ died for our sins, and that He was buried, and that He rose again for our justification (that is, to declare us righteous before God). He took our punishment upon Himself and made a complete payment for our sins (He paid our sin debt in full - He died for all of our sins- past, present and future). ‘’But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’’ (Romans 6:23b, 5:8).

 

Salvation is a free gift received by faith – we cannot save ourselves by our own works, such as: by repenting from our sins, or by joining a church, or by getting baptized, or by keeping the commandments, or by being a good person, etc.). It is not based on our own goodness or efforts. It’s a 100% by faith (by trusting in Jesus and in His finished work alone) and 0% by works - (it’s all by grace, meaning it’s an ‘’unmerited favor’’). - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

 

The Bible says there’s only one thing we must do to be saved. Acts chapter 16 verse 31 says: ‘’Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.’’ To believe means to trust. Believing on Jesus means that we put all of our faith and trust in His death, His burial and His resurrection as the complete payment for our sins (which guarantees us eternal life). We must simply ask Jesus to save us by believing that He died and rose again for our salvation (His sacrifice is entirely sufficient to save us). ‘’That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (if you ask Him to save you), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved’’ (Romans 10:9, 13).

 

And once we’re saved, we’re saved forever. The Bible says that salvation is eternal and that it can never be lost for any reason. The moment we believe on Christ, we receive forgiveness for all of our sins (past, present, and future sins) and eternal life. Then God becomes our Father and we become His child. Now, if we do good things after we’re saved, God will bless us- and if we commit sins, God will discipline us- but our punishment (or chastisement) for sin will come only in this lifetime, and we can never lose the gift of eternal life or go to hell because it is God’s promise to us – ‘’He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life’’ (John 3:36).

 

So if you admit that you’re a sinner, condemned to hell, and if you believe that salvation can only be received by accepting Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection as the complete payment for your sins - and that you cannot be saved by your own works or efforts, and that you can never lose salvation after having received it, you can repeat after me – ''Dear Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, and I deserve to go to hell. But I believe that you died on the cross and rose again to pay for all of my sins. Save me right now and give me eternal life. I’m trusting in you alone as my Savior - and not in my own works. Thanks for saving me- Amen’’! If you have sincerely believed in your heart and if you've asked Jesus to save you, you’re saved forever. You can write down today’s date as your salvation day - Congrats.

Comment prêcher l'évangile (French soulwinning guide)

Préparation de l'évangile de paix: Méthode d'évangélisation Ephésiens 6:15: "Et vos pieds chaussés de la préparation de l’évangile de paix;" Méthode de la Romans Road. 1. Avant l'évangélisation (en guise d'introduction) Avant d'aller évangéliser, il nous faut toujours prendre un temps de prières afin que Dieu nous guide, afin que les coeurs soient réceptifs, afin que Dieu nous protège, etc. La prière est donc très importante. Si vous avez des brochures ou cartes youtube, alors vous pouvez en donner aux personnes lors de votre évangélisation. Cela permettra d'aborder la conversation. L'évangélisation peut se faire dans la rue en abordant les gens, dans un lieu donné ou en faisant du porte à porte. Elle se fait à deux, une personne qui parle et une autre qui est silencieuse. Toujours garder à l'esprit que c'est la Parole de Dieu qui est essentielle au Salut lors de l'évangélisation. 

De même que l'Esprit Saint qui travaille dans les coeurs. La Bible nous dit en Actes 4:29: "Et maintenant, Seigneur, regarde leurs menaces: et accorde à tes serviteurs qu’ils puissent avec toute hardiesse prononcer ta parole" Et au verset 31: "Et lorsqu’ils eurent prié, le lieu où ils étaient assemblés trembla ; et ils furent tous remplis de l’Esprit Saint, et ils prononçaient la parole de Dieu avec hardiesse." Nous pouvons voir le pouvoir que Dieu nous donne pour annoncer l'évangile: le lieu trembla! En Romains 10:17, il est aussi dit: "Ainsi donc la foi vient de ce qu'on entend, et ce qu'on entend vient par la parole de Dieu." C'est donc la Parole de Dieu qui sauve et les personnes perdues ont besoin de quelqu'un qui leur explique l'évangile. Il est bien dit: "de ce qu'on entend", ce qui implique quelqu'un qui leur explique avec des versets de la Bible. 

En conclusion, sans versets de la Bible et sans une personne sauvée qui parle, il n'est pas possible que quelqu'un soit sauvé. A noter aussi, il nous faut aussi aimer notre prochain, la personne en face ressent notre amour et notre volonté de la voir être sauvée. Attention il est très important d'utiliser une bonne version de la Bible ! De nombreuses versions sont corrompues et ne sont pas la Parole de Dieu. La King James Française est une très bonne version (la King James en anglais étant de nos jours la Parole de Dieu préservée qui est fidèle aux écrits originaux. La version en français en est une traduction). Il est aussi possible d'acheter la Ostervald 1744 (Ancien et Nouveau Testament), qui est une bonne version. 2. 

Aborder la conversation (si l'on ne connaît pas la personne) Présentez-vous, soyez souriant, vous apportez une bonne nouvelle! Dire que nous sommes chrétiens baptistes ou que nous sommes chrétiens (nous ne sommes pas témoins de jéhovah, ni d'aucune secte). Demander à la personne si elle est chrétienne. Exemple d'accroche: dire aux personnes: Vous avez une âme et bien sûr nous allons tous mourir un jour. La Bible nous dit qu'après la mort, il y a un Paradis et un enfer. Est-ce que vous savez comment aller au Paradis? Si la personne semble être certaine d’aller au ciel, demandez: "Que pensez-vous devoir faire pour y aller?" et "Si vous commetez un grave péché, pouvez-vous perdre le salut?" (La personne doit dire que c'est seulement par la grâce, par le moyen de la foi, et que c'est un don gratuit qui est éternel) Si la personne répond mal aux questions, lui proposer de lui expliquer avec la Bible comment aller au Paradis. 

Si la personne n’est pas certaine à 100%, ou si la personne n’a aucun espoir : Lui dire: "Puis-je vous montrer à partir de la Bible comment vous pouvez être sûr d'y aller?" 4 cas de figure: - S'ils disent qu'ils ont le temps, alors commencez - S'ils disent qu'ils n'ont pas beaucoup de temps, alors essayez de leur dire : Pas de problème, puis-je vous faire un petit résumé (avec des versets). Faire un résumé des 4 parties de l'évangélisation avec des versets. On verra cela au point 4. - S'ils disent qu'ils n'ont pas le temps: essayez de donner un seul verset (Jean 3:16 ou Romains 6.23 par exemple) et une carte youtube. 

- Si pas interessé, partir ou donner une carte youtube A noter que parfois, une personne qui dit ne pas être intéressée ou ne pas avoir beaucoup de temps, après que vous ayez donné un ou plusieurs versets, sera finalement interessée pour écouter tout l'évangile. Certaines personnes sont aussi très réservées, les cartes youtube sont alors une option intéressante. 3. Exemple de liste de versets dans la Bible pour présenter l'évangile (Bien les surligner dans sa Bible) Romains 3:23 Romains 6:23 (Début du verset: "Car le salaire du péché est la mort;") Apocalypse 21:8 Romains 5:8 (Matthieu 1:21) et (1 Jean 5:7) et (1 Timothée 3:16) 1 Jean 2:2 et 1 Pierre 2:24 Romains 8:34 Actes 16:30-31 Ephésiens 2:8-9 Romains 6:23 (Suite du verset: "mais le don de Dieu (...)") Jean 3:15-16 Tite 1:2 Jean 1:12 Jean 10:28 Romains 10:9 ou Romains 10:13 

Les versets sont à mentionner pour presque chaque évangélisation, idéalement dans l'ordre précis dans lequels ils sont. Il est très important de suivre une logique dans la présentation, cet exemple suit une logique: péché, punition, condamnation, amour de Dieu, solution, salut en Jésus Christ par la foi, salut éternel. Je vous conseille de garder les versets clairs sur le salut. Il faut aussi s'adapter à la personne à qui l'on parle par rapport au temps. Ajouter des versets si la personne a besoin de plus d'explications et de plus de temps. Et si la personne est pressée, alors enlever quelques versets. Il est bien de mettre cette liste de versets dans votre Bible ou sur un post-it que vous pourrez mettre dans votre Bible, afin de vous guider lors de votre évangélisation. Vous pouvez aussi marquer à côté d'un verset, le verset suivant. Par exemple à côté du verset Romains 6:23 dans votre Bible, vous écrivez Apocalypse 21:8. Ainsi vous savez quel verset est le suivant. Cela aide à aller plus vite et à savoir quel est le verset suivant à donner. 

Biensûr l'idéal est de connaître l'ordre des versets de mémoire. Cela demande de l'apprentissage et cela se fera également avec l'expérience. Il est bien de s'entrainer seul à présenter l'évangile. 4. A travers ces versets, nous pouvons regrouper 1. Nous sommes tous pécheurs et condamnés à l'enfer Romains 3:23, Romains 6:23, Apocalypse 21:8 Ceux-ci démontrent que nous sommes tous pécheurs et condamnés à l'enfer. Nous sommes tous pécheurs et avons enfreint la loi de Dieu. Personne n'est une bonne personne et personne ne peut être sauvé par ses œuvres. Nous avons tous mentis et méritons donc tous d'aller en enfer. Nous devons être punis pour nos péchés, Dieu est juste. L'enfer est un lieu terrible, aucun repos ni jour ni nuit, lieu éternel, brulé pour toujours. Bien sûr Dieu est amour, ainsi il ne veut pas que nous allions en enfer, Il veut nous sauver. 2. Dieu nous aime et Jésus Christ est le sauveur Romains 5:8, (Matthieu 1:21 et 1 Jean 5:7 et 1 Timothée 3:16), 1 Jean 2:2, Romains 8:34 A travers ces versets, on montre que Dieu nous aime. Il a prouvé son amour vers nous par le fait qu'il ait envoyé Jésus Christ son Fils pour nous sauver. On explique qui était Jésus: né d'une vierge, le Fils de Dieu, Dieu fait chair, il a fait beaucoup de miracles, etc. Il n'a jamais péché. On explique la Trinité, Jésus est le Fils de Dieu et il est Dieu. Il y a 3 personnes, un seul Dieu. Prendre plus de temps avec une personne qui ne connait pas qui est Jésus Christ. Puis on montre que Jésus est mort pour nous, qu'il a porté tous nos péchés sur la croix. Il n'avait jamais péché et il a porté tous nos péchés sur la croix, afin que nous soyons pardonnés. Puis il a été enseveli et est ressuscité des morts le troisième jour. Il est donc revenu à la vie corporellement et a été vu par beaucoup. Il a notamment montré les trous dans ses mains et il a prouvé qu'il était bien vivant. Il est ensuite monté au ciel. Bien insister sur la crucifixion, l'ensevelissement et la résurrection, car c'est la base de l'évangile. 

3. Le Salut est par la foi, c'est une grâce Actes 16:30-31, Ephésiens 2:8-9, Romains 6:23 deuxième partie, Jean 3:15-16 A travers ces versets, on explique comment être pardonné de nos péchés, comment être sauvé, comment recevoir la vie éternelle. On montre que tous n’iront pas au ciel, mais seulement ceux qui croient en Jésus. Insister sur le fait que le salut est par la foi. Ce qui nous sauve, c’est notre confiance en Dieu par l’évangile du Seigneur Jésus. Aucune œuvre ne sauve, seulement Jésus. Toute notre Foi (confiance) doit être mise en lui. Bien dire que ce n'est pas le baptême, pas un changement de vie, pas l'église, etc, qui sauve, mais bien Jésus. Bien dire ces choses: pour que les gens réalisent que ce n'est pas cela. Le Salut est une grâce, par le moyen de la foi, non des œuvres. Gratuit, déjà payé par Jésus. Donner exemple de ce que signifie avoir confiance. Expliquer ce qu'est une grâce et ce qu'est la vie éternelle. Bien montrer aussi qu'un cadeau est gratuit. Et que ce cadeau est éternel: la vie éternelle, n'a pas de fin. Pardon des péchés passés présents et futurs, donner exemple du livre avec le prénom de la personne. 

4. Le Salut est pour toujours Tite 1:2, Jean 1:12, Jean 10:28 Avec ces versets, on montre que le Salut est éternel. On explique ce concept. Ainsi, on montre que le Salut est pour toujours: car Dieu est fidèle à ses promesses. Une fois que Dieu sauve une personne, elle est sauvée pour toujours. Dieu lui donne (un cadeau) la vie éternelle, non une vie temporaire. Cette vie est donc pour toujours. Nous sommes scellés de l'Esprit Saint le jour de notre salut. De plus, une fois que nous devenons enfant de Dieu, quoi que nous fassions, nous demeurons enfants de Dieu. Bien donner des exemples, notamment sur le fait que lorsque nous sommes enfant d'un père, nous ne pouvons pas arrêter d'être enfant. Expliquer que Dieu nous punira sur terre ou que nous perdrons des récompenses au ciel si nous faisons quelque chose de mal (ou un grave péché) après avoir été sauvé, mais nous ne perdrons jamais notre Salut. Et nous serons bénis et récompensés si nous faisons des bonnes œuvres une fois sauvé. Ainsi, Dieu ne nous enverra jamais en enfer quand nous sommes ses enfants. Bien montrer que le Salut est un événement: la nouvelle naissance. Et que Dieu est fidèle, il nous a fait une promesse et nous sommes dans sa main pour toujours. Toujours garder à l'esprit que si une personne croit perdre son salut, alors elle n'est pas sauvée. Lors de la présentation de l'évangile, il est également important de garder l'attention de la ou des personne(s) qui écoute(nt) l'évangile. Poser des questions et donner des exemples ou illustrations sont notamment des bons moyens de voir s'ils comprennent et de garder leur attention. 

5. Questions à poser une fois la présentation de l'évangile terminée afin de vérifier que la personne ait bien tout compris (Noter ces questions dans votre Bible ou sur un post-it pour les avoir avec vous) 1. Croyez-vous que Jésus est mort sur la croix pour vos péchés ? 2. Et croyez-vous qu'il est ressuscité d'entre les morts ? 3. Que devez vous faire pour aller au Paradis? Est-ce que croire suffit ou faut il aussi faire de bonnes actions? 4. Pouvez-vous perdre le salut si vous commettez un grave péché? Parfois prendre exemple de grave péché pour vérifier. La personne doit bien répondre à toutes les questions! La question 3 est une question ouverte, cela permet de réellement voir si la personne a compris. Et demander s'il faut rajouter autres choses est je trouve essentiel. Car j'ai eu un grand nombre de personnes qui disaient qu'il fallait croire, mais quand on leur demande si croire suffit, ils disent non. Ils n'ont donc pas compris ce que c'est que croire. Cela permet de revenir sur cela et de bien expliqué. Romains 4:5, Romains 3:18, et Romains 11:6 sont bien à ce moment là. Poser des questions est essentiel! Si vous ne posez pas de questions, vous ne savez pas si la personne a compris l'évangile. Vous ne savez pas si la personne croit ou si la personne a besoin de plus de versets et d'explications sur un point précis de l'évangile. Si la personne a bien répondu, passez à l'étape suivante: la prière. Si la personne a mal répondu, alors lui montrer des versets supplémentaires. Et si après que vous ayez montré plusieurs autres versets, la personne ne croit toujours pas ou n'est pas prête, alors arrêtez l'évangélisation. Faites preuve de discernement afin de savoir quoi faire. A noter, qu'il faut parfois plus de temps pour certaines personnes. Ainsi, il faut savoir être patient. Aussi faut-il savoir arrêter une conversation si par exemple la personne n'est pas intéressée, n'écoute pas ou refuse l'évangile. Ne soyez pas des 1,2 3 répéte après moi. Prenez le temps de vérifier ce que la personne croit, c'est essentiel ! Le chiffre n'est pas l'important, l'important est que les personnes soient sauvées. Biensûr nous ne voyons pas le coeur de la personne, donc nous ne savons pas vraiment s'ils croient, nous pouvons que nous fier à ce qu'ils disent. Et des personnes prient sans croire, cela n'est pas de notre ressort. C'est entre la personne et Dieu. Au moins nous avons fait le travail. 

6. Affirmation (prière) à faire avec la personne à la fin (Noter cela dans la bible ou sur un post-it afin de l'avoir lors de l'évangélisation) Avant de faire l'affirmation, il est bien de revenir avec la personne sur ce qu'elle croyait devoir faire pour aller au Paradis avant que vous ayez commencé la présentation de l'évangile, afin de vérifier si la personne a maintenant changé d'avis. Cela démontre que la personne s'est bien repentie. Par exemple, rappelez à la personne ce qu'elle croyait au début et vous pouvez lui demander si elle a maintenant changé d'avis. Cela vous permettra de voir si elle a compris. Puis passer à l'affirmation. Ce point est TRES IMPORTANT : c'est l'aboutissement de votre présentation de l'évangile. Il faut encourager la personne à faire appel au nom du Seigneur. Donner à ce moment les versets Romains 10:9 ou Romains 10:13. Expliquer ainsi à la personne que le fait de confesser (dire) de sa bouche à haute voix et de croire dans son coeur lui permet d'être sauvée. Par cette affirmation la personne va donc dire à Jésus qu'elle croit en lui, elle place sa confiance en lui. Car faire la prière sans croire ne sauve pas et ne sert à rien. La promesse du salut est offerte à celui qui croit dans l’évangile du Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Commencez à faire l'affirmation avec la personne si besoin. - Seigneur Jésus Christ, - Je sais que je suis un(e) pécheur(eresse), - Je sais que je mérite d'aller en enfer, - Mais je crois que tu es mort sur la croix pour moi - et que tu es ressuscité, - Merci Seigneur de me sauver et de me donner la vie éternelle, - Par la foi, j'ai confiance en toi seul Seigneur Jésus, Amen. Fin de l'évangélisation Lui dire que si elle a cru, elle a reçu la vie éternelle. Possible de donner 1 Jean 5:13. Il est possible de lui poser les questions: Où êtes-vous sûr d'aller maintenant si vous mourrez? (Paradis) Est-ce que vous pouvez encore aller en enfer ? Puis célébrer avec la personne cette merveilleuse nouvelle, si elle a accepté ce cadeau. Lui rappeler que si elle a cru en Jésus-Christ elle est sauvée pour toujours et que selon les promesses de Dieu elle est sûr d'aller au Paradis. Elle a maintenant la vie éternelle. Ensuite lui parler de la vie chrétienne: le fait de lire la Bible, de se faire baptiser, de trouver une bonne église, de faire des œuvres pour Dieu, etc. Pas pour son Salut bien sûr, mais pour sa vie chrétienne. Le verset Apocalypse 1:3 est un bon verset pour parler de la vie chrétienne. Lui donner une carte youtube ou une invitation pour votre église. Prendre son contact parfois. How to preach the gospel in 4 steps

Soulwinning in 4 steps - How to preach the gospel by Revelation 1611 (with script). - Step 1 — Sin, Step 2 — Hell, Step 3 — The gospel (the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as full payment for our sins), Step 4 — Salvation by faith alone without works — Once saved, always saved (chastisement and rewards)/ asking Jesus for salvation.

- Explanations -

Step 1 — show the person that we’re all sinners (Romans 3 :23, *Romans 3 :10) — give a list of common sins, such as lying, stealing or coveting (we’re all guilty of those). *To sin is to break or transgress God’s commandments (His law set forth in the Holy Bible), to do wrong things.

Step 2 — Show that the price (or penalty, or consequence) for sin is hell (the lake of fire, which is the second death) (Romans 6 :23a, Revelation 21:8). Just as a worker earns wages for his work, so a sinner receives death as the wages (or payment) for his sins.

Step 3 — Show that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried and rose again the third day (1Corinthians 15 :3-4, Romans 5 :8) in order to pay (or atone) for all of our sins and to save us from hell. He is the propitiation (or payment) for our sins, and the only way to heaven.

Step 4 — Show that salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ — apart from our works (Acts 16:31, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9, 13). Give a list of common things people think will make them earn salvation, such as: turning away from sin, baptism, church attendance, keeping the commandments, being a good person, etc. and explain that none of those things (or works) can make us earn salvation. It is a gift, paid for by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, which we must freely receive by faith. The only thing we must do to be saved is to ask Him for salvation by believing and trusting in Him alone as our Savior. Then lead the person to pray to receive Christ once and for all (calling on the name of the Lord).

- Script -Hi, I’m a baptist- (just handing out gospel tracts) - I have a question - If you were to die today, are you 100% sure that you have eternal life? (If sure: Really, how do you know?) The bible says there’s one thing we must do to be saved — it’s by trusting in Jesus Christ (as Savior) and it’s not by any of the works that we do — Acts 16:31). Would you like to know for sure? It will only take 3 minutes.

First of all, the Bible says that we’re all sinners - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). So we’re all guilty of lying, stealing, coveting, etc. And the Bible says there’s a consequence for our sins (For the wages of sin is death – Romans 6:23). So the wages (or penalty) we earn for our sins is death. Not just a physical death but also a second death in hell— And all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death (Revelation 21:8. So we’re all guilty, right? - Person - Yes. (We’ve all lied before, and we’ve all done worse things than lying. So we all deserve hell as a punishment for our sins).

But there’s good news - the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23b). (You know who Jesus is, right?) - Person - Yes. He is the Son of God (God manifest in the flesh). The Bible says that Christ died for our sins, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day in order to pay for all of our sins and to save us from hell (1Corinthians 15:3-4). So when Jesus died for your sins and mine, it’s just as if He had done them Himself — He was being punished in our place (**1Peter 2 :24). He paid the full price (or penalty) for our sins. He is the propitiation (or payment) for our sins. **Romans 6 :23a ‘’For the wages (or payment) of sin is death’’.

The one thing the Bible says we must do to be saved is : ‘’Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved’’ (Acts 16:31). To believe means to trust — it doesn’t mean to only believe that Jesus exists, but to actually trust Him to save us personally. To believe on Him means that we put all of our faith and trust in what He did to save us - His death, burial and resurrection as the full payment for our sins (which guarantees us eternal life). And it’s not by any of our good works or efforts – Not by works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2 :9). So it’s not by being a good person, or by turning from sin, or by joining a church, or by being baptized, or anything, but simply receiving what Jesus did for us (His sacrifice, His precious blood) as payment for our sins.

And once we believe on Christ, we’re saved forever and we become a child of God. Now, if we do good things after we’re saved, God will bless us, and if we commit sins, God will discipline (or correct) us on this earth, but no matter what we do afterwards we can never lose eternal life or go to hell (because it is a gift). (So all of our sins (past, present and future) are forgiven by the blood of Jesus when we believe on Him. This is called the eternal security of the believer).

So the one thing we must do to receive the gift of eternal life is to call on Jesus by faith - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, (if you ask Him to save you) and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Before we call on the name of the Lord, I have a few questions for you — 1. Do you believe that we’re all sinners? (Yes- Romans 3:23, 1John 1:8), 2, Do you believe that we all deserve hell for our sins (Yes — Revelation 21:8 (all liars), Romans 3 :4) 3. Do you believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose again to pay for all of your sins and to save you from hell? (Yes- 1John 2:2), 4. What do you believe a person must do in order to be saved? (Believe/rely on Christ- Acts 16:31), 5. Is believing (relying) on Jesus alone good enough or do you also have to be a good person, keep the commandments, repent from sin, and do good works ? (Yes – only believe — Romans 4:5, 11:6), 6. Is there anything you can do to lose eternal life? (No — because it’s a gift - John. 10:28), 7. What do you believe about all of this? Does it make sense to you? – Yes, I believe it -

If you’re sincere, I would like to lead you in a prayer in order to ask Jesus to save you. Repeat after me: ‘’ Dear Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, and I deserve to go to hell. But I believe that you died on the cross, were buried and rose again to pay for all of my sins. Please save me right now and give me eternal life. I’m trusting in you alone as my Savior — apart from my works. If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure that you’d go to heaven? You can know for sure! First of all, the Bible says that we’re all sinners - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. So we’re all guilty of lying, stealing or coveting - and the Bible says there’s a punishment for our sins - For the wages of sin is death. This is not only referring to a physical death, but also to a second death in hell. And all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. And we know that we’ve all lied before, and we’ve all done worse things than lying. Therefore we all deserve hell because of our sins.

But the good news is that God loves us and He doesn’t want us to go to hell to be punished for our sins. That’s why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to be the propitiation (or payment) for our sins. Jesus is the Son of God and He’s also God manifest in the flesh. The Bible says that Christ died for our sins, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day in order to pay for all of our sins and to save us from hell. When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, it’s just as if He had done them Himself – He was being punished in our place. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree. He died for all of our sins- past, present and future.

Moreover, the Bible says that salvation is a gift. ‘’For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast’’. Since salvation is a gift, and gifts are always free, we don’t have to give anything in return (it’s not of works, not of our own doing). The word grace means ‘’something we do not deserve’’ (remember, we deserve hell, not salvation). And the word faith means ‘’what we are trusting to be saved’’.

The one thing the Bible says we must do to be saved is: ‘’Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved’’. To believe means to trust – it doesn’t mean to only believe that Jesus exists, but to actually trust Him to save us personally. To believe on Him means that we put all of our faith and trust in His death, His burial and His resurrection as the complete payment for our sins (which guarantees us eternal life). Notice the verse doesn’t say that you have to repent of all of your sins, or join a church, or be baptized, or keep the commandments, or be a good person- it only says believe.

And once you believe on Christ, you will be saved forever. So that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. The moment you put your trust in Christ alone as Savior, you receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Now, if you do good things after you’re saved, God will bless you, and if you commit sins, God will correct you – but there’s nothing you can do to lose salvation because you’ve become a child of God and all of your sins are paid for and covered by the blood of Jesus. You are justified before God – it’s just as if you had never sinned. Salvation is based solely on Christ’s payment for our sins and whether we accept it or not. No one is good enough to go to Heaven on their own merits.

So the only thing you must do to receive the gift of eternal life is to call on Jesus by faith - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (if you ask Him to save you), and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. What is salvation

Salvation is not a reward to be earned by works - but a free gift to be received by faith.

We are saved by trusting Jesus' death, burial and resurrection as the complete payment for our sins. We cannot be saved by turning from sin, or by doing good works, or by living the Christian life. It's only by putting our trust in Jesus alone and in what He did for us (His death, His burial and His resurrection). No amount of good works can undo the bad that we've done. No one is good enough to go to heaven on their own merits. If we could be saved by our own doing, we would have to be a 100% perfect all the time and only do good without ever committing a single sin for our entire lives- and be absolutely perfect like Jesus Christ. But truth be told, we've all sinned before, and as long as we are in this corrupt, sinful body, we will always sin (no one keeps God's commandments perfectly - the flesh cannot keep the law - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us - - Romans 8:3, 1John 1:8). This is why turning from sin will not work - your past sins are still recorded against you, and you will always sin either by will or by ignorance. In order to go to heaven, you have to be a 100% perfect- which is why your sin needs to be paid for and covered, and Jesus' finished work is the only acceptable payment for man's sins. God will not accept any of our good works or efforts as a substitute to Jesus' death and resurrection. You must put a 100% of your faith and trust in Jesus alone, and nothing of yourself (Eph. 2:8-9, Rom 4:5). 

Salvation is eternal - there's nothing you can do to lose the gift of eternal life because it depends on Jesus alone.

The good news is that once you are saved, you're saved forever because all of your sins have been paid for and covered by the blood of Jesus the moment you received Him as your Savior. Now, if you commit sins after you're saved, God will correct you (nobody is getting away with sin in this life - whatsoever any man soweth, the same shall he also reap (Ga. 6:6)), and if you do good things (as a means to serve God and not as a means to earn salvation), God will reward you and bless you - but regardless of what you do or how you live, you will always be saved. You've become a child of God by faith in Jesus Christ (Ga. 3:26). That is because salvation is all by grace (by God's unmerited favor) through faith in Jesus' finished work alone. It’s not by our own works of righteousness (i.e., the works that we do to earn salvation). Salvation depends on Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins, and not on what we do to earn it. One sin has condemned us all to hell (Romans 5:12), and only one sacrifice can save us - the blood of Jesus (Heb. 9:22, 10:12).

This is how salvation works - it's free grace, and it's once saved, always saved. Salvation is only through Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. Salvation is truly free.

If you desire to be saved, you must stop trusting in your own works and you must simply believe that Jesus died, was buried and rose again to pay for your salvation. You cannot add anything to His finished work - simply believe, and you will receive eternal life. If you think that you have to be a good person, or do good works, or be baptized, or go to church, or keep the commandments, or do anything other than BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation (Acts 16:31), then you will not be saved - because you're trusting in your own works, instead of depending on Jesus' finished work alone. Nobody ever worked hard to enough to make it to heaven. My friend, it's the sinless blood of the Lamb versus your filthy rags of good works. Don't trust any of your works (Is. 64:6)- only trust the blood of Jesus. ''What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus; What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.'' 

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7

And if by grace, then is it no more of works - Romans 11:6a.

The dangers of pornography

Pornography is very bad for many reasons. First and foremost because it sticks to your mind forever (what goes in, doesn’t come out). It's like a tattoo. Except it's put in your brain and you cannot erase it. It's also very bad because it creates an insatiable appetite. ‘’The eyes of man are never full‘’. It’s all dirty. It will follow you wherever you go, and will affect your relationships and view towards the opposite gender (it perverts your view of the opposite sex and creates cravings that are really hard to resist). It will destroy your marriage, your career, your morals, your brain’s chemistry and it can send you to jail, and will shave years off your life and wellbeing. It is over-addictive and over-stimulating – it is worst than actual drugs. Just as with video games, it creates OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and fills a good chunk of quality time that could be spent on something else. You will be desensitized to the beauty of your spouse. You will lose your desires to do normal things and to do what’s right and enjoy the basic pleasures of life. Etc. For one once of pleasure, you get a lifetime of pain and sorrow. It is better to bear a yoke of wood, than a yoke of iron.

You can live without pornography once you realize that it’s a literal toilet bowl. Pornography is the internet’s sewers. As with any addiction, you can never remain on the same level of intensity to fulfill the chemical addiction that you’ve created in your mind – it is ever increasing and requires more hardcore content for a temporary relief. Over time, you will notice that the content you see will be filthier and filthier because the so called ‘’good’’ or ‘’likeable’’ content is mixed with the perverted content (such as sodomy, etc.), which will desensitize your mind to the awfulness of sin, and as we know, curiosity always kills the cat. You will always go to the next level of filth until you reach the point of the toilet bowl. As long as you feed that lust, it will always get the best of you.

The way to live without porn is to live a full life, avoiding idle time, spending quality time working at a job, having hobbies, fulfilling hard tasks and doing plenty of physical exercise, having close friendships and accountability partners, keeping a journal of abstinence and of course, the Bible, prayer and church.

You may have been taught all your life that masturbation is a sin- well, if it’s a tool you can use to avoid pornography, by all means do it once in a while – because the greater sin is looking at pornography. It is greater work to release yourself with fantasy (it might require more effort for some), but it’s purer and more satisfying in the long run. You will probably feel guilty of doing it even without looking at internet filth, but that is because of the misconception of it being a sin by the evangelicals and the other nuts who do not use their own judgment over the necessities of life. You ought to be spared the toilet bowl of filth that’s waiting to catch you on the net. Using your imagination is the better tool here. Most men require a release every few days. If you can push back the need to do it further, great, but don’t wait to explode. Once or twice every day or up to once in 3 days is a good rule of thumb. The main point is avoiding nudity and filthy content. There’s already enough visual stimuli that isn’t porn, you don’t need any more. In the good old days, without the internet filth, men had to use their imagination and they only had clothing magazines. The internet filth causes memory problems and erectile disfunction (which can be almost permanent depending on the level of your addiction). Also you will never enjoy the natural beauty of women as much as before if you go into the deeper levels.

If you can quit cold turkey, that’s the best way to do it. It will be a real struggle for the first week, then the first month, then the first half of the year, but if you can reach a year without it, you will be very proud of yourself. As with cigarettes : you better abstain from any of it, and if you're on an addiction, the Lord might make you hit some walls that will make you stop - but it won't be pleasant. The only durable solution is to get married or wait for your sex drive to decrease over time. 

Society’s norms are not God’s norms. The cesspool of iniquity will only increase, so remember : 1- stop, 2-run, 3- don’t turn back, 4-Keep yourself busy and pray ''that ye enter not into temptation''. Give yourself all the means to avoid it- and avoid it like the plague. Sin is always more serious than you think. Fools make a mock of sin.

If you've fallen into sin, know that the consequences will remain, but you can be restored in part (some things will fade away with time, however, stains of the sin will always remain -i.e., especially memories). The reason porn is so bad is because it affects your mind for a lifetime, and its severity depends on how long you've been into it and what you've been exposed to. Know that you are not alone in this struggle, and that the Lord can help you remain sober if you keep yourself busy and distanciating yourself from the negative influences. Society has pushed it as ''a need'', but in reality it is only a craving, or an addiction that has replaced marriage. It is a communist goal to pervert the minds of the youth and the medias (such as TV and  the internet) do just that.
